At Dezentrum association, we are committed to a digital future that serves society - a digitalization that benefits everyone.
A future in which digitalization is not shaped exclusively by the economy, but a digitalization in which the interests of civil society are actively considered and included.
A future in which vessels and structures exist that make it possible for digitalization topics to be made comprehensible and accessible to the broad population.
A future in which digitalization is not an end in itself, but is promoted where social needs can be answered.
A digitalization that does not foster structural inequality and discrimination, but helps to tackle them.
We thus see ourselves as a non-profit funding entity, which is focused on the well-being of third parties. This is also reflected in our corporate purpose, as stated the following article:
“The association acts as a funding tool for the research, development and implementation of ideas for technological change that serve society. It unites people who want to work in collaboration in a non-profit way on concepts for desirable futures. The association is non-profit, politically independent and confessionally neutral.”
