Events
The Dezentrum association brings together people with different backgrounds and expertise who want to actively initiate and demand change. In order to make synergies productive, we have established a variety of different exchange formats.
Scenario-Workshops
The collective creation and discussion of desirable images of the future is inevitable if we want to help shape the future. Because only when we know where we want to go can we proactively work towards it. That's why speculation - thinking about futures and creating images of the future - is an important tool for participatory future design. In different workshop formats, we practice speculating about desirable future scenarios. Our goal is not to make predictions about how the future will turn out, but to develop an idea of what kind of future we want to live in.
Our event formats
Partizipation
Szenario-Workshop
Discussing social problem areas, spinning ideas and developing desirable future scenarios are one thing, to implement them is another. Our association members are encouraged to concretize and test ideas. To this end, the association regularly offers Prototyping Days. A prototype is an early sample, model or early version of a solution approach that is built to test a concept or process. At the Prototyping Days, in two workshops members from the Dezentrum association develop prototypes for a desirable future scenario.
