Membership

The association is 100 percent owner of Dezentrum GmbH. These are two distinct entities: The association can be understood as a community, while the GmbH is an official legal entity with employed staff who are compensated. As a member of the association, you are legally a co-owner of Dezentrum and actively shape the digital future. You can also actively participate in the association's events. Do you have special expertise that you'd like to share with other members? Then let's organize a joint workshop, and you'll receive your next annual membership fee for free. As a member, you'll also stay informed through newsletters, Signal chat, and our website.

NFTs in the Art World - a Discourse Analysis

The interactive publication ‘Proof of Culture’ is dedicated to the discourse surrounding NFTs in the art world. It brings together 14 voices from the fields of art and blockchain and categorises them. At this point, NFTs serve as an example of the heated discussions on the assessment of so-called ‘emerging technologies’: New technologies that promise to significantly improve existing processes.

We often notice them only when disruptions occur, yet they continuously influence how we live together and shape our political system. Wenn du magst, kannst du ein Topping nach eigenem Geschmack mitbringen. Wir geben einen Einblick in die bevorstehenden Veranstaltungen und Events im September/Oktober und nehmen deine Inputs auf. That's why the Dezentrum association regularly offers various workshop formats where people come together to work on new concepts for social coexistence.
